A selection of parks and gardens can be found throughout the island of Lanzarote, offering peaceful and secluded spots away from the beachfronts. One of the most famous and popular landscaped gardens in Lanzarote, the Garden of Cactus, known locally as the Jardin de Cactus, was designed by Lanzarote's most notable artist Caesar Manrique and is home to a vast collection of enormous cacti.

Also, the National Park of Timanfaya, in the Yaiza area of Lanzarote, is a vast expanse of volcanic scenery, with lush planting, hiking trails and even trekking on camels. Here are Lanzarote's main parks and gardens.
